Nekni is not able to update this blog for some time because has been very busy--Business Ikobana la. Going for courses, finishing school work. By the time Nekni is home already exhausted. Alhamdullihah cute photos are coming in. So today nekni decide to continue writing and posting latest pictures of Dan. I can see Dan teeth is geting longer. Dan is also getting smarter and his stranger anxiety was obvious when he came back...But only for a while. He is going to be a very friendly boy.

Hu Hu first day of the week. Nekni is very busy catching up with school work. Many problems need to be settled. Back from Penang

Just came back from Penang. The house is in order. Fishy fish is still alive. In the morning Nekni rearrange and start replantimg the plants near Pegola. Very tired so had an afternoon nap...Kroh kroh tired. In the evening continue gardening. Atuk cut the grass while Nekni clear up the compound. Jeng! Jeng then got a picture of an alien. See here.

King Cobra

Salam,
Today Nekni receive a picture that looks like "King Cobra." He is non other than the "Entem Boy." He does not look too happy...Not the smiling face that I normally see. However he looks comfortable meniarap. Well he's growing up well and may soon "merangkak" . That depends on whether he will feel comfortable standing on his knees. However, he definitely can't wait to be "vertical" ever since he was 2 months old.
Dan's Bonda Aryang is back home for the weekend. Soon he will be joined by Pak Syo who will be home anytime soon. He has come home to get his ISAT letter so that he can sit for the exam early May. Bonda Ati is happy that both are home. She thinks that Nekni is happier cos Nekni was "kelamkabut" Cooking masak lemak cili api ayam kampung. Of course Nekni is happy cos the house will be noisy again. But the fact is Nekni also wants to have early dinner so that Nekni don't go to bed feeling bloated and full.

Lote World

Nekni lote world ni. Just came back from KL-MARA HQ. But I still want to view my blog before going to bed. I can't wait to upload Dan's latest picture just to share with everyone. Hemmmm proud Grandma to have her first grandson. Good to hear that Dan is just fine.
History of Lote World
In November 2003 we had a family trip to Korea. In Seoul there's a fun park called Lotte World. All the children were having fun but ibu and ayah were not allowed to enjoy the rides because of our age. Furthermore we were tired of walking around.
Anyway Syo promise to be an engineer of a fun park because he wanted to create a Lotte World in Malaysia so that it would be easy for him to play as he wish--So say him. Hmmmm, he changed his career path now already in Taylor's College aspiring to a doctor. That suited his personality most I guess because of his caring personality and Bio inclined. Whatever...All the best to Pak Syo. Ibu sentiasa doa agar kamu berjaya. Insyaalah. Work hard, work smart and never miss your solat.

The Entem Boy Show

Fishy Fish is Dead

Hu hu one of the 3 fish that Daniel use to feed and play with is gone--May be due to neglect and overfeed the day before. Nekni accidentally put a lot of fish food a day before--and sadly it affected the fish.
Today Umi Daniel informed that entem boy has rashes on his face and body. For whatever reason whether due to heat or infection (Orang Melayu kata Campak) I suggest that he be given the coconut water. It has proven to be effective in reducing body heat and reduce the effect of infection. Demam Campak is basically a viral infection that cause rashes. Viral infection do not have any cure but we can reduce its effect by controlling the symptoms such as high temperature etc.
To my beloved Daniel "Get well Soon" I will always pray for your well being and health.
To Umi and ayah Daniel, just be patient in taking care of that little entem boy. Insyaalah things will be better tomorrow.

8 months old

Yesterday Daniel was exactly 8 months old. On his 8 month birthday his first 2 teeth appear. He is growing more smarter every day, More Entem a term exclusively for him. Another grandma Story: A baby who normally is slow physically i.e walk much later (after 1 year old) will normally talk first--petah bercakap. It seems like daniel will such a boy. Anyway another grandma story is that being sick is part of growing up and going to the next stage--to get rid of excess weight and then start meniarap-merangkak-berjalan etc.

Having my first Tooth

Nekni is the happiest person today. Although worried that Daniel is having fever but excited to hear that his teeth begin to emerge from the lower jaw. Grandma story say that if maiden teeth first appear from the upper jaw the baby may grow up to snobbish and egoistic. Alhamdulillah although we don't believe on such crap I am still relief that his first teeth is where it should normally be. To Daniel may you grow up to be a humble person with lots of humility and kindness. be kind to all beings and animals included.

Miss U very much

Today is almost uneventful until i return a video call to see Daniel. Wow! he's a big boy now. Growing up very fast. Handsome pulak tu. For a grandma of course no one is more handsomer than her own cucu. Daniel seems to grow very fast. Cannot even blink. Or you will miss his growing up process. To Daniel... be a good boy. I know you are will grow up to be smart and entem. I will be in langkawi to see you but don't know when--economic problem.
Nekni and bonda going to KT next week to see Atuk, then drive to Penang. We will bring home our new "Merz" he he. Salam

4 days after

Nekni msg umi if video call can be made. Umi responded immediately and made the video call. Hmmm I'm sleepy. Hence cannot focus on the video call. I just feel like eating my Umi's phone. Nekni was extremely excited to see me. Bonda Ati was next to her. She is equally excited. Bonda looks sick. She is in fact having a fever--poor bonda... Get well soon OK? I am save and sound under the care of my beloved Umi. So Nekni don't worry. Insyaallah I will not fall and hurt when I "meniarap" He he I show off to my friends that I can roll over in school last Sunday.

Begin to Blog

Just decide to write something to cheer me up. Life has been hectic. Alhamdullilah I have been blessed by a handsome grandson named Muhamad Daniel-also known as "Entem" Sometime misheard sounds like "Indon."His mother also my beloved daughter called Sarah. Recents fracture her feet-now on cast. Thus need a lot of assistance. I'm nor able to help her fully as I should cos i am working full time--still.
Daniel is blessed with loving and caring aunties=Bonda Ati and Bonda Nina. Also have 2 caring uncles: Ayah Jo and Pak Su (Pak Sudoku). This young uncle would like to be called Pok Uda but I insist it's Pak Su. Bonda ends up with Pak Sudoku. He he Sound OK to me. Daniel's grandpa love to do the Sudoku during his past time.
Daniel is already 7 months old but can only roll over sideways.
He loves the morning "Lasbela" where he will be excited watching the birds and the angklung sound. Every morning he reminds "Nekni" to feed the fish whenever we walk pass the aquarium.
